Our Mission & The Team
We build open-access, highly technical, and safety-focused troubleshooting guidelines for commuter micro-mobility owners.
The Origin of DIYPEV
Electric scooters and bikes represent the future of sustainable short-range urban transit. However, when the warranty expires or local dealerships shut down, riders are often left with bricks. A minor issue like a slipped throttle magnet can prompt repair shop quotes exceeding half the vehicle's cost.
We established DIYPEV.com to address this knowledge vacuum. Our guides are designed to be read in dark garages, with wrenches in grease-covered hands. We prioritize readability, speed, safety warnings, and clear, verified links to spare parts.
